How does it work?

It's oh-so simple!
1. We send you the Fundraising Pack and you send the catalogues out to parents.
2. They send you their orders and you send us a consolidated order.
3. We deliver the goods and you pass them on to delighted parents.
4. We settle up and you keep 30% of the sales.
(4b. We all have a nice brew in celebration of another successful campaign)

How to get started
Simply request your Fundraising Pack (with its catalogues, order forms, advice booklet, and posters). Request it online or by telephone on 0845 609 0206 or fax on 0845 609 0207.
It's free, with no ties attached.

When you receive your Pack, distribute the catalogues to the pupils and they can gather orders (filling in the form on the back of the catalogue) from their family, friends, work-colleagues and so on. A letter should be sent out with the catalogues explaining the campaign (example provided).

Finally, display the posters to promote the campaign.

Everything is provided for free!

Remember: Promote it, advertise it, sing it from the hills!
And a bit of advice (tried and tested): Get the kids involved - motivate them, empower
them, make it their campaign - you'll be inspired and amazed by the outcome!
It can be the difference between a good campaign and an outstanding campaign.

Collecting the order forms
Fix a date for the order forms to be handed-in (we advise 15 days maximum after distribution), accompanied with a cheque for the sum of the order, made out to your school.

Complete the Master Order Form by collating the individual orders you have collected and send it back to us (you keep the individual order forms, we just need the Master Order Form). Or, even easier, use the online FUND WIZARD which will help you complete the Master Order Form with ease. It does all the maths for you!

NB. You do not send us any money at this stage.

How to proceed once your order is delivered
Your garden goods will be delivered within 20 days of us receiving your Master Order Form so you can be sure to get them in good time for planting.
Your chocolates, however, will be delivered in early December, freshly made and perfect for the Christmas festivities.

NB. Make a photocopy of the individual order forms so that you can enclose one with parents' garden orders whilst keeping the other
for the chocolate order.

An easy to follow distribution guide is provided explaining how to make it a hassle-free process and tailor-made recyclable paper bags will be enclosed allowing you to distribute the goodies in style!

How to work out your profit margin
You will earn 30% profit on sales from £1 to £7,000
Increased to 35% profit on sales between £7,000 and £14,000
And a staggering 40% profit on sales above £14,000

Settling the bill
At the end of the campaign (i.e. after you have received the cheques from the participants and have distributed the bulbs, plants etc) we will send you an invoice for the sum of: the total sales, minus your takings (30% to 40%), plus the cost of the postage (£20). See the blackboard adjacent for an example and you'll see how beneficial this campaign can be.

And what happens if the project doesn't work out?
There is no minimum order which means that you are virtually making money as soon as the first bulb is bought. And if there are no orders, there won't be an invoice.
There is absolutely no risk to your school.
